Tuesday, April 14th Health Equity Network Summer Webinar @ 12 PM Eastern

Expanding the Lens: Contemporary Research on Sex, Gender, and Sexual Orientation in Tobacco Use This webinar, sponsored by the Health Equity Network, will spotlight research featured in the November 2025 special issue of Nicotine & Tobacco Research on sex and gender in nicotine/tobacco-related research (linked here: Volume 27 Issue 11 | Nicotine & Tobacco Research | Oxford Academic). The special issue focused on recent research seeking to reduce continued sex/gender disparities in commercial nicotine/tobacco use, especially for sex and gender minoritized (SGM) individuals, and employed a fuller range of sex/gender groups by expanding beyond the sex/gender binary and including sexual orientation. The webinar will feature pre-recorded flash talks (linked here:Flash talk speakers and titles) from selected special-issue authors and a live Q&A with authors and editors to delve deeper into these topics.

Meet the Researcher Series – Spring 2026 The SRNT Trainee Network is excited to host three virtual sessions for the Meet the Researcher Series – Spring 2026. Rather than focusing on research content alone, this series is designed to highlight the personal experiences, career development, and transferable insights behind a research career, including the failures, struggles, and lessons learned that never appear on a CV, but shape every career path. Each session features an informal, facilitated discussion with guest researchers, no formal presentation, just an open and honest conversation.
