Operational Committees
Committees carry out much of SRNT’s operational activities, such as monitoring SRNT’s finances; facilitating the Awards nomination and review process; and supporting the Board by providing information and guidance, as needed. Committees have ongoing or regularly recurring responsibilities and allow SRNT to tap into individual members’ full experience, talents, interests and enthusiasm, and can be the training ground for prospective board members and officers.
All SRNT members are eligible to participate in one or more committees. The Board appoints Committee Chairs and provides direction to committees regarding tasks and scope of work.

Charge: To present the highest caliber of science across disciplines at SRNT’s main meeting
Charge: To serve as the interface between the Board of Directors and the Editorial Team of SRNT’s journal, Nicotine and Tobacco Research.
Charge: To review SRNT programs and materials, and advise the board on areas related to racial equity.
