Registration for the Annual Meeting typically opens online in early December and remains open until about one week prior to the Annual Meeting. After that time, attendees will be able to register on-site only. The early bird registration fees remain in effect from the time registration opens until about four weeks prior to the Annual Meeting.
Registration for the Annual Meeting includes admittance to all Podium Presentations, Poster Sessions, Plenary Sessions, the Opening Reception, and box lunches on Thursday and Friday. The preliminary program is published on the SRNT website in mid-December, providing the program schedule and other Annual Meeting information. The final program will provide a key to help attendees easily find sessions within the many content areas covered. The final program becomes available online a couple of weeks prior to the Annual Meeting and will also be provided to all registered attendees upon checking in at the registration desk at the Annual Meeting.
SRNT provides complimentary registration to all attendees who live and work in low-, low-middle, and high-middle income countries (as defined by the World Health Organization). A limited number of travel awards are available to those that check the box during the Call for Abstract submission process. Acceptance of the award will be emailed to recipients in late November annually. SRNT also accepts a minimal number of student volunteers each year who receive waived registration in exchange for helping facilitate podium and plenary sessions.
Any registration cancellations must be due to professional and/or personal/family health emergencies and be made in writing directly to the SRNT office prior to the first day of the Annual Meeting. All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $50 administrative fee. Two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, no refunds will be given. Walk-ins and replacements are always welcome. Refunds will be processed following the Annual Meeting.

SRNT welcomes abstract submissions from both members and non-members working in any nicotine/tobacco-related field.
Abstracts must be submitted via the abstract website by the deadline, and submitters can designate for which type of presentation the abstract should be considered. There is no fee to submit an abstract. Abstracts that have been published or presented elsewhere prior to the time of presentation at the Annual Meeting may not be submitted for consideration. Paper and poster abstracts submitted for presentation must be based on empirical research and report actual (not promised) results along with relevant statistics and significance values. In contrast, abstracts for informational sessions such as seminars, panel discussions and symposia might include empirical and/or non-empirical contributions.
The online abstract submission website typically opens in late July or early August and remains open until early September. Abstracts will be reviewed after the submission deadline and submitters will be notified in November or early in December, depending when the program is put together.
Rapid response offer the opportunity for presentation of late-breaking findings in the field. The rapid response abstract submission system is typically open in the month of December.
